This is a vintage British Knit pattern for dolls sizes 10" tall and 12" tall. English needle size No. 9, 10, 11 & 12 were used in this pattern (Metric size 1.15, 1, .8, .75; US sizes 4 & 5). Four ply yarn was used. A needle conversion chart will be included with pattern.
The Pattern consists of an 11 piece wardrobe for 10 - 12" tall dolls: Shorts, Trousers; Sweater; Hat; Vest (undershirt); Pants; Jacket; Skirt; Nightdress; Socks & Dressing Gown.
Even though this pattern was originally designed for hard plastic dolls from the 40's & 50's this pattern will also fit dolls other little dolls with similar figure types. By using a slightly smaller needle and/or thinner yarn/thread, this pattern could be adapted to fit smaller dolls.
