This is a vintage, undated 9 Piece knitting pattern for 20" - 22" walker type dolls.
Pattern includes: Dress, Jacket, Coat, Bonnet, Mittens, Vest or Undershirt, Panties, Shoes, Petticoat/Slip. The jacket is exquisitely made with a smoked effect, ribbed yoke.
English size 10 & 11 (Metric Size 3.25 & 3 and US Size 3) knitting needles were used throughout. Yarn used in the original pattern was 3 and 2 Ply Nursery Yarn (baby yarn).
MEASUREMENTS:Dress:Length, shoulder to hem, 12 1/2 inches.Width all round at underarm, 16 inches.Sleeve seam, 1 inch.
Jacket:Length, shoulder to hem, 6 inches.Width all round at underarm (after smocking), 16 1/2 inches.Sleeve seam, 4 1/2 inches.
Coat: Length, shoulder to hem, 12 1/2 inches.Width all round at underarm, 16 1/2 inches.Sleeve seam (cuff turned back), 4 1/2 inches.
Shoes:Length of foot, 2 1/2 inches.Even though this pattern was originally designed for bisque or composition dolls, it should fit larger size dolls such as Saucy Walker, Ideal's Kissy & dolls with similar figure types.
