This is a vintage dog sweater Pattern. This pattern has two versions:
The knit pattern is for a 12" coat (measured from base of neck to end of tail). Materials used are worsted weight yarn & 1 pair Knitting Needles, 14 inches long, Standard Size 6; (UK 4mm).
The crochet coat pattern measures 11 inches long finished. Materials used are 1 Crochet Hook standard size 2 or 3.0 mm and sport weight yarn. Two colors of yarn are used for a striped effect (the photo only shows a solid pattern). This version has a strap that crosses underneath the dog and ties on top of the back.
These should fit many styles of small dogs such as Dachshunds, Poodles and Terriers. Make sure to measure your dog.
