This is a vintage pattern for a knitted sweater or coat for a Cockatiel or Parrot. It has optional short "trousers" at the leg openings. Suggestions are given for summer weight and winter weight yarn. A needle conversion chart will be included.
This was apparently designed for pets who have lost their feathers or who have gotten the habit of plucking out their feathers. The sweater is actually sewn onto the bird with his wings, head, tail and claws left uncovered.
It is a cute, colorful idea for a special Polly!
