This is a vintage pattern for poodles and small dogs. Dog sweater size is determined by measuring your dog from the back of neck to the base of the tail. This measurement will be the same as the appropriate sweater size ....10", 11", 12", 14" or 15".
This is an old pattern that was knitted in heavy knitting worsted that is so simple it can be made in one evening. Knitting Needles used are US # 5 & 8 and double point needle for the cable.
This sweater has a ribbed underpiece that is sewn in place so that the sweater pulls on and slips over the front legs.
