This is a knit pattern that was designed for the very popular British Rosebud Twin hard plastic 7 1/2" dolls in the late 40's and early 1950's.
This pattern consists of a boucle wool button front coat with collar, long sleeves, pockets & shoes.
The original pattern was made using boucle wool, English knitting needles size No.14. A set of four No.14 double pointed knitting needles were used for the tiny shoes which were knitted with two ply fingering.
This unique pattern would be perfect for custom designing to create one of a kind miniature garments.
These charming patterns will fit many modern, popular dolls in sizes from 7 1/2" such as Riley, Ginny, Muffie, Betsy McCall, etc. with only minor adjustments to needle or yarn size.
