This is a pattern that was designed for the very popular British Rosebud Twins hard plastic 6 1/2" dolls in 1950. The chest and waist measurement of these dolls is 4".
This pattern consists of a frilly crochet dress and panties made out of crochet cotton and a knitted cloak with hood. Steel Crochet hook English Size 4(US No. 10 & Metric No. 1) were used for the dress. Three ply fingering and a pair of English knitting needles # 13 were used (US #1, Metric #2.25) for the cloak.
This unique pattern would be perfect for custom designing to create one of a kind miniature garments.
These charming patterns will fit many modern, popular dolls in sizes from 6 1/2" such as Riley, Ginny, Muffie, Betsy McCall, Amanda Jane, Ellery, etc. with only minor adjustments to needle or yarn size.
