This is a knitting pattern that was designed for the very popular British Rosebud Twins hard plastic 7 1/2" dolls in the early 1950's. This pattern consists of a 3 piece outfit for a 7 1/2" doll: A full skirted white sundress with deep square neck and and bright dots(embroidered French knots), matching shoes and panties.
A pair of English No. 14 needles and 2 ply baby wool were used in the original pattern.
The original photo of this pattern was too deteriorated to salvage, but we are showing a gorgeous version of the dress on 7" Riley. Only minor changes need to be made to the original pattern for her. An international needle & yarn conversion chart will be included with this pattern.
These charming patterns will fit many modern, popular dolls in sizes from 7" to 8" such as Riley, Ginny, Betsy McCall, Amanda Jane, etc. with only minor adjustments to needle or yarn size.
