This is a knit pattern that was designed for the very popular British Rosebud Twins hard plastic 6 1/2" dolls in the late 40's and early 1950's.
This pattern consists of a four piece Angora Trimmed, Embroidered Skating set: Hood, Dress, Panties and Mittens. Lazy Daisies were embroidered on the hood, the dress and mittens.
Two ply fingering yarn and small ball of angora, and a set of 4 English knitting needles pointed at both ends #16 (Metric size 1.50 or USA size 000) were used. This unique pattern would be perfect for custom designing to create one of a kind miniature garments.
These charming patterns will fit many modern, popular dolls in sizes from 6 1/2" such as Ellery, Riley, Ginny, Muffie, Betsy McCall, Amanda Jane, etc. with only minor adjustments to needle or yarn size.
