Every little Princess or Heir deserves to be announced by Royal Heralds. Present your own dolly Court with this vintage English knit pattern for Heraldic costumes for 6 1/2" dolls. This knitting pattern was designed for the very popular Rosebud Twins hard plastic 6 1/2" dolls in the early 1950's.
This pattern consists of an "Ermine" trimmed navy and red tunic embroidered with gold thread (Thistle, Rose, Shamrock, & Leek); black cap has a gold thread tassel; red panties & shoes. Two ply fingering and a small amount of Angora was used in the original pattern. A set of 4 size 14 needles English (U.S. #0 needles) and a #13 Crochet Hook.
These charming patterns will fit many modern, popular dolls in sizes from 6 1/2" such as Ellery, Riley, Ginny, Muffie, Betsy McCall, Amanda Jane, etc. with only minor adjustments to needle or yarn size.
