This is a vintage English Wedding Trousseau Crochet Pattern for two sizes of dolls: 11 1/2" and 18" (chest measurement 8 inches)Teen - Fashion dolls.
The original pattern was crocheted with Metric size 3.0 & 4.0 (US sizes G or 6) for the smaller dolls and Metric 4.0 and 5.0 (US sizes G or 6 and H or 8 for the 18" dolls. 4 Ply (US 3 ply fingering) was used for the smaller dolls and Double Knitting (US light worsted) was used for the larger doll.
It consists of a long sleeve two piece Pants Suit, Wedding Dress with flower trim, and a street length Day Dress. Instructions are given for making crochet flowers for wedding veil and dress.
Even though this pattern was originally designed for British fashion dolls, with only minor adjustments, it should also fit similar American dolls such as Miss Revlon, 14R, Dollikin, Cindy, Sweet Sue & Toni. The smaller size should fit Barbie size dolls and Sindy
