This is a cute 5 Piece Crochet Pattern from the 1896. This pattern is for little girl and boy doll outfits from 7" to 8" in height. It consists of a boys outfit; a collared, button up front with trimmed edge coat, trimmed edge trousers, and a matching hat. The girls outfit is a long lovely dress with detailed sleeves, with a ruffle effect at bottom; it has a flounce (like a shoulder wrap but attached to the dress), and a matching bonnet.
Even though this pattern was originally designed for dolls from 1896 this pattern will also fit dolls from about 7" to 8" tall such as Riley, Ginny, Muffy, Betsy McCall, Pepper, Alexanderkins, Riley, Roberta Walker, Ginger and Pam, Patsy, Pam, Ellery and other little girl dolls with similar figure types.This pattern would be especially suitable for Migonnette and Pocket Dolls.
Using larger needles and yarn can make this bigger to fit other dolls like Ann Estelle by Tonner and many others.
