This is a vintage Doll knitting pattern that will fit miniature baby dolls 9" to 9 1/2". This pattern was called "An Enchanting Layette for Our Tiny Baby. Yarn used is 3 ply wool, knitting needles used are British/Canadian sizes #10 and #12, U.S. sizes are #2 and #3. Pattern consists of a Dress, Bonnet, Jacket, matching Booties and undershirt and undies . Just adorable for any little dolly!!
Even though this pattern was originally designed for a hard plastic Baby Doll, Rosebud (a very popular English made doll) from the early 50's, these patterns will also fit 9" bisque dolls and other miniature baby dolls that are so popular today.
If a smaller size is desired, smaller needles and thread can be used. Sizes can be made by increasing or decreasing needles and yarn, for 8" dolls like Tiny Ann Estelle or Betsy McCall or Riley.
