Middy Sailor Nautical Dress Knit Pattern 6 1/2" Miniature Doll Ellery Migonnette
This is a knitting pattern that was designed for the very popular British Rosebud Twins hard plastic 6 1/2" dolls ca. 1950. The chest and waist measurement of these dolls is 4".
This pattern consists of a four piece Middy Dress: Blouse; Pleated Skirt; Beret & Singlet (underblouse). The middy blouse has a collar with white trim and a tiny pocket. The matching navy skirt is pleated. The white Singlet has an anchor design embroidered on it. The white beret has a navy band. Three ply fingering and a set of 4 English knitting needles # 13 were used (US #1, Metric #2.25) and a fine crochet hook for trim.
This unique pattern would be perfect for custom designing to create one of a kind miniature garments.
