This is a vintage British Doll pattern for 6 1/2" dolls. The pattern includes an adorable Raglan Bunting sleeper, longsleeved, with Raglan detail at front button closure and at bottom button closure and on cuffs. Two ply fingering, English size 13 knitting needles were used in the original pattern.
Even though this pattern was originally designed for a hard plastic Thumbsucker Baby Doll, Rosebud (a very popular English made doll) ca. late 40's - early 50's, these patterns will also fit 6" bisque dolls and other miniature baby dolls that are so popular today like Ellery.
If a smaller size is desired, smaller needles and thread can be used. Larger sizes can be made by increasing needles and yarn, for 8" dolls like Tiny Ann Estelle or Betsy McCall, Ginny, Bitty Bethany, Kishlets, Baby Patsy or Marie Osmond's little mini collections or Riley.
