This is a knitting pattern that was designed for the very popular British Rosebud Twins hard plastic 7 1/2" dolls in the early 1950's.
This pattern consists of a one piece Fair Isle design sunsuit for a 7 1/2" doll: The original pattern used a pair of English no. 13 knitting needles (US size #0 or Metric size No. 2.25).
Two ply fingering was used in the original pattern. A needle conversion chart and knitting hints for miniature patterns will be included with this pattern.
These charming patterns will fit many modern, popular dolls in sizes around 7 1/2" such as Riley, Ginny, Betsy McCall, Amanda Jane, etc. with only minor adjustments to needle or yarn size.
