This is a knit pattern that was designed for the very popular British Rosebud Twins hard plastic 6 1/2" dolls in the late 40's and early 1950's.
This pattern consists of a lacy, long dress with short sleeves and ribbon tie at waist. Crochet and tiny flower trimmed headdress and bouquet are added for accents. Crochet Cotton was used for this pattern. English knitting needles Size #15(Metric size 1.75) were used.
This unique pattern would be perfect for custom designing to create one of a kind miniature garments.
These charming patterns will fit many modern, popular dolls in sizes from 6 1/2" such as Riley, Ginny, Muffie, Betsy McCall, Amanda Jane, etc. with only minor adjustments to needle or yarn size.
