This is a beautiful Embroidered Rosebud Bobbles Knit Pattern Dress Set that was designed for the British Rosebud Twins hard plastic 7 1/2" dolls in the early 1950's.
This knitting pattern consists of a Dress with embroidered rosebuds ("bobbles" are knitted into the dress), Panties and Slippers. A matching pink edge is crocheted around the neckline and hemline. Needle sizes US No. 1, English No. 13, and metric size No. 2 1/4 were used. Three ply fingering yarn was used in the original pattern. Snap closure in back of the dress.
These charming patterns will fit many modern, popular dolls in sizes from 7 1/2" such as Riley, Ginny, Betsy McCall, Amanda Jane, etc. with only minor adjustments to needle or yarn size.
