This is a cute 2 Piece Blouse and Pants set for 7 1/2" dolls with a toddler type body. It is unusual because it has a ruffle attached to the bodice and to the leg bottoms. It was originally designed to be a shortie pajama pattern for hard plastic dolls in the 40's & 50's. However, this cute pattern would be perfect for modern dolls as a playset or just as an unusual little pants set to embellish with embroidery (at the yoke).
The classic nature of the design lends itself to a number of variations for one of a kind designs.
Even though this pattern was originally designed for hard plastic dolls from the 40's & 50s, it should also fit dolls from about 7" to 8" tall such as Ginny, Muffy, Alexanderkins and Helen Kish's Riley or other little girl dolls with similar figure types.
