This is a knit pattern that was designed for the very popular British Rosebud Twins hard plastic 6 1/2" dolls in the early 1950's.
This pattern consists of a button front Cardigan and short sleeved Sweater (Jersey) and a skirt that has a checked effect with two colors of yarn knitted into a pattern. Two ply fingering yarn and English knitting needles # 14 were used (US #0, Metric #2). This unique pattern would be perfect for custom designing to create one of a kind miniature garments.
These charming patterns will fit many modern, popular dolls in sizes from 6 1/2" such as Riley, Ginny, Muffie, Betsy McCall, Amanda Jane, etc. with only minor adjustments to needle or yarn size.
