This is a knit pattern that was designed for the very popular British Rosebud Twins hard plastic 6 1/2" dolls ca. 1950.
This pattern is for a short sleeved dress knitted in a delicate leaf stitch with moss stitch yoke. Two ply fingering and English knitting needles No.15 were used (Metric No. 1.75).
This unique pattern would be perfect for custom designing to create one of a kind miniature garments.
These charming patterns will fit many modern, popular dolls in sizes from 6 1/2" such as Ellery, Riley, Ginny, Muffie, Betsy McCall, Amanda Jane, etc. with only minor adjustments to needle or yarn size.
