This is a knitting pattern that was designed for the very popular British Rosebud Twins hard plastic 7 1/2" dolls in the early 1950's.
This pattern consists of a 3 piece outfit for a 7 1/2" doll: Jeans; Striped Jersey (short sleeved pullover); and matching Pirate's style cap. Double pointed knitting needles were used in the original pattern. Three ply yarn was also used in the original pattern.
A needle conversion chart and knitting hints for miniature patterns will be included with this pattern.
These charming patterns will fit many modern, popular dolls in sizes from 7 1/2" such as Riley, Ginny, Betsy McCall, Amanda Jane, etc. with only minor adjustments to needle or yarn size.
