This is a knitting pattern that was designed for the very popular British Rosebud Twins hard plastic 6 1/2" dolls in the early 1950's. Called "Something New for Our Twins".
This pattern consists of an outfit for a 6 1/2" doll: Flared Skirt with Buttoned Straps & Blouse. Absolutely adorable outfit! Needle size English #14 (Metric size 2.00 and US size # 0). Two ply fingering was used in the original pattern.
A needle conversion chart and knitting hints for miniature patterns will be included with this pattern. These charming patterns will fit many modern, popular dolls in sizes from 6 1/2" such as Ellery, Riley, Ginny, Betsy McCall, Amanda Jane, Tiny Ann Estelle, etc. with only minor adjustments to needle or yarn size.
