This is a knitting pattern that was designed for the very popular British Rosebud Twins hard plastic 6 1/2" dolls in the early 1950's.
This sweet pattern consists of a Fancy Ruffled Blouse with Embroidery and Nicely detailed designed full Skirt. The blouse has ruffled short sleeves, collar, and waist. The pattern was originally named "The Twins go Dancing.Two ply fingering and a pair of No. 14 English knitting needles were used in the original pattern.
These patterns will fit many modern, popular dolls in sizes from 6 1/2" such as Ellery, Riley, Ann Estelle, Ginny, Betsy McCall, Amanda Jane, etc. with only minor adjustments to needle or yarn size.
