This is a four piece Fair Isle Design Ski Set knit pattern that was designed for the very popular British Rosebud Twins hard plastic 7 1/2" dolls in the early 1950's.
This pattern consists of Pants, Sweater, Cap with Tassels, and Boots. The original pattern was knitted in 2-Ply Fingering Yarn and and double pointed Knitting Needles size English #14, (US # 0 and metric size #2) were used.
These patterns will fit many modern, popular dolls such as Riley, Ginny, Betsy McCall, Amanda Jane, etc. with only minor adjustments to needle or yarn size.
