This is an English knit pattern for an Angora trimmed coat for 6 1/2" dolls.
This knitting pattern was designed for the very popular Rosebud Twins hard plastic 6 1/2" dolls in the early 1950's.
This pattern consists of a double breasted, hooded coat with angora trimmed sleeves and hood. It also has a belt that attaches across the back. Two ply fingering and a small amount of Angora was used in the original pattern. A set of English size 13 knitting needles were used.
These charming patterns will fit many modern, popular dolls in sizes from 6 1/2" such as Ellery, Riley, Ginny, Muffie, Betsy McCall, Amanda Jane, etc. with only minor adjustments to needle or yarn size.
