This is a Classic Style knit pattern that was designed for the very popular British Rosebud Twins hard plastic 7 1/2" dolls in the early 1950's.
This pattern consists of a stunning folded back, scalloped edge Bonnet and matching Coat with scalloped edge cuffs and collar. Needle size English #14, (US #0 and metric size # ) was used. Two ply fingering was used in the original pattern.
These charming patterns will fit many modern, popular dolls in sizes from 7 1/2" such as Riley, Ginny, Betsy McCall, Amanda Jane, etc. with only minor adjustments to needle or yarn size.
