This is an original design pattern that was inspired by a vintage Arranbee dress ca. 1950's.This pattern utilizes modern, pre-packaged, pre-cut products for fast and easy construction, however, instructions are given for conventional materials.
This pattern fits 18" to 19" fashion dolls. It consists of a halter top short tutu length or long dress; panties, ballet slippers, hair accessory (snood), and optional, detachable fairy wings.
Our patterns are fully illustrated and designed to be simple to sew. However, it is assumed that the buyer has a basic knowledge of sewing skills.
This pattern is shown finished on my vintage Valentine ballerina as a model, but it should also fit Dollikin, Toni, Sweet Sue Sophisticate, Miss Revlon, and other 18" - 19" Fashion Dolls. Because of the style, it would be easy to alter the bodice to fit slightly smaller or larger dolls.
