2 Dress Sets Vintage Crochet Thread Pattern 8" Dolls
This is a vintage American crochet thread pattern that was designed for 8" dolls, ca. 1950. The pattern consists of two dress sets: The red dress is a lacy, full dress with wide collar and embroidered velvet ribbon at waist. The Blue dress has beads crocheted into the design and matching panties and bonnet with ribbon trim. Both were crocheted with crochet cotton thread and size 7 steel hook. Even though this pattern was designed for hard plastic dolls, it can easily be adapted for modern dolls such as Ginny, Muffy, Riley, Betsy McCall and others.
