This is a vintage English Knit Pattern for 23" tall fashion dolls. This set can also be adapted for 58cm - 60cm BJD Dollfie SD ball jointed dolls. Slightly smaller needles or yarn and this would also adapt easily for Robert Tonner's American Model. This is a knit pattern that would be very hard to find today for this size dolls.
Instructions for a Bridal Dress and Suit (hat, skirt & jacket) are included. These are hard to find fashions for the taller high heel dolls from the 50's and 60's...such as Toni, Sweet Sue, Miss Revlon, Deluxe Reading, Arrow, Binnie, and all the look alikes. The finished garment measurements of the suit are: Width underarm 12 inches. Length of skirt 8½ inches. Sleeve seam 5 inches.
By using slightly smaller yarn or needles, these cute fashions can be adjusted to fit Cissy, Margie, Dollikin, Cindy and other smaller fashion dolls. The original pattern used Double knitting yarn, 2 pairs of US & UK Size No. 7 needles (Metric Size 4.5), and 1 pair of UK Size No. 9 needles (US Size No. 5 or Metric No. 3.75).
