This is a knit pattern that was designed for the very popular British Rosebud Twins hard plastic 6 1/2" dolls in the late 40's and early 1950's.
This pattern is for a fancy pullover vest, long sleeve blouse and skirt for 6 1/2" dolls.
A needle and yarn conversion chart along with knitting hints for vintage British miniature knit patterns will be included.
A Ball of 2 ply fingering in white and a small ball of the same wool in red; a small ball of plain crochet cotton No. 16; a pair each of UK No. 13 and No. 15 knitting needles and a fine crochet hook were used to make these.
These charming patterns will fit many modern, popular dolls in sizes from 6 1/2" such as Hitty, Ellery, Riley, Ginny, Muffie, Betsy McCall, Amanda Jane, etc. with only minor adjustments to needle or yarn size.
