This is an original 4 piece pattern for a cabana dress, sunsuit, floppy hat and bag for 16" fashion dolls. It was inspired by a vintage doll set and was created by Sew Retro Designs.
Cabana style Dress is sleeveless with a gathered skirt. It opens up the front with a collar and has a mock double breasted effect. The button front opening extends to the hem. Matching sunsuit closes in back with snaps and has self hemmed cuffs at top and leg edges. A floppy hat and bag complete this four piece poolside ensemble. Dress can be made with lined bodice or unlined with contrast trim at edges.
This pattern is also available in another listing for 19"-20" fashion dolls such as Modern & vintage Cissy, Dollikin, Miss Revlon, Cindy, 14R, Toni and similar size fashion dolls.

This pattern is recommended for someone with intermediate sewing skills. Our patterns are fully illustrated and designed to be simple to sew. However, it is assumed that the buyer has a basic knowledge of sewing skills.
This pattern is shown finished on my Ellowyne Wilde, however, it will also fit Tyler, Gene, Brenda Star, Alex, 43cm-44cm BJDs as well as similar size Fashion Dolls with only minor alterations. |
