These are vintage knitting patterns for Baby Boy and Baby Girl sweater and cap sets that will fit dolls from 10" to 16".
The Baby Girl's set is made from 3 ply yarn and consists of a cap, booties and button front sweater.
The Baby Boy's set consists of a button front sweater and cap with flaps to keep little ears warm.
Even though this pattern was originally designed for hard plastic and rubber dolls such as Dydee Baby and Tiny Tears from the late 40's & early 50's, these patterns will also fit baby dolls from about 10" to 16" with similar shapes such as Bitty Baby, Baby So Beautiful, Baby Dear (12"), Berenguer babies, Zapf, Corolle and other modern dolls. These are also suitable for real preemies and reborn dolls.
