This is an old undated knitting pattern ca. 1950's for a Baby Doll Set with embroidered trim.
It consists of a Coat, Dress, Bonet with pompom, Booties and Panties to fit an 11 1/2" to 12" doll, measuring 7 3/4" around chest. It is embroidered in a simple lazy daisy stitch in Beauty Rose and Hunter's Green embroidery thread. Baby wool was originally used with US size #2 knitting needles.
These patterns were originally designed for hard plastic/vinyl baby dolls from the 50's. However, they will fit many dolls of similar length and body type such as Vogue Baby Dear (12"), Berenguer, Newborn Baby So Beautiful, Corolle & Zapf.
