This is an old undated, English Knitting Pattern from around the 1940's for toddler girl dolls.
It fits dolls from 18" to 21" in length. It consists of 5 patterns for Coat, Beret, Dress, Vest (camisole) and underpants. Sizes can be varied by using different size needles and yarn. 3 ply wool and sizes 12 and 10 English knitting needles (US size 3 & 1 or Metric size 2.75 & 3.25) were used in the original pattern.
Even though this classic pattern was originally designed for composition and bisque dolls, it should fit a wide range of dolls from Tiny Tears, DyDee Baby, Baby Dear (18") and a variety of larger size dolls such as Kissy, and large walker type dolls with similar figure types.
