This is a lovely old English knitting pattern for 18" - 20" dolls.
The length of the coat is 10" dress length is 9 1/2". The original pattern was knitted in 3 & 4 ply yarn. It has instructions for:
Coat and knickers (4 ply Yarn)Dress, Vest, Bonnet, Bootees and Gloves (3 ply Yarn);1 Pair of English No. 9, 10 and 13 knitting needles(US sizes 5, 3 & 1 orMetric 3.75, 3.25, or 2.25). 1 No. 13 crochet Hook (US size B/1 or Metric 2.25).
Even though this classic pattern was originally designed for composition and bisque dolls, it should fit a wide range of dolls from Tiny Tears, DyDee Baby, Baby Dear (18") and a variety of larger size dolls such as Kissy, Saucy Walker and large walker type dolls with similar figure types.
